July 2015

Jay Mueller and Astrid Edwards founded Bad Producer Productions because too many stories remain untold. Our goal is to bring stories to life.

Launched Game Changers: Radio

April 2016

We launched Game Changers: Radio, a podcast interviewing the best radio talent in Australia, in collaboration with Craig Bruce Coaching.

Relaunched In the Pocket

August 2016

We took over The NFL on The Greenfield Post and relaunched as In the Pocket, with host Steve Salisbury and our very own Jay Mueller.

Launched The Garret Podcast

November 2016

We launched The Garret, a podcast interviewing the best writers writing today about the craft of writing.
The show is supported by the State Library of Victoria, Swinburne University and Writers Victoria.

Our first podcast, Game Changers: Radio, was shortlisted for Best Podcast in Mumbrella’s 2016 Publish Awards.

Partnered with TGI Fridays

December 2016

We partnered with TGI Fridays Australia for the 2016 and 2017 Seasons of In the Pocket and hosted their annual ‘Legendary Super Bowl Party’ in February 2017.

Shortlisted for Cast Away Awards

March 2017

Our third podcast, The Garret, was shortlisted in the Literature, Arts and Music category of the inaugural Cast Away Australian Podcast Awards.

April 2017

Game Changers: Radio reached 100,000 downloads after four seasons and within 12 months of launch.

Awarded grant funding

September 2017

Astrid Edwards, founder of our literary podcast The Garret, was awarded grant funding from the Australia Council of the Arts and The Copyright Agency.
